Water Park Lies

Direct Transfers has stated countless times that timeshare companies are frauds. Unfortunately, they continue to go out and prove us right. A recent case inside Virginia shows just how correct we are, and just how dishonest they are.

Timeshare owners are banding together to sue Land’Or Williamsburg, a timeshare company operating on the East Coast. Residents claim that staff from the lowest level to the highest encouraged them to buy in to the timeshare based on a promised water park, called Cascade Cavern. Obviously a timeshare adjacent to a water park is of much higher value and interest, so owners bought.

Unfortunately for owners, the promised water park was never delivered.

In fact, not only have they not met their promise, they have no way to. There was never any mention of a water park when developers secured permits for the property, nor do they currently have a permit to build a water park from York County.

Owners were tricked into believing they would be on one of the hottest spots in Virginia, and factored costs of water park entrance and availability into their decision to purchase the timeshare. But from the evidence it’s apparent that the timeshare company Land’Or Williamsburg never had any intention of actually delivering on their promise.

Direct Transfers knows that timeshare companies often makes promises they can’t keep, but this is a sickening case of downright dishonesty. We have fought for years to free consumers from the trap of timeshare lies, but we are still affronted whenever we see a case like this where timeshare companies are so clearly comfortable with making lies up to trick people.

Unfortunately, this isn’t an isolated incident. Timeshare companies all over the world are comfortable with the most dishonest and disgusting tactics in hopes that, once they get buyers into their timeshare nightmare, they’ll never escape and be stuck paying maintenance fees for the rest of their lives.

There’s no shortage of timeshare companies lying to consumers, or consumers who have been bankrupted and damaged by the lies of the companies they trusted. The only shortage in the timeshare industry is companies who are willing to step out and help consumers out of the timeshare nightmare.

Direct Transfers is one of the few. We’re dedicated to getting you your own timeshare solution and putting an end to special assessments, maintenance fees, and other frivolous charges. We want consumers to take real vacations, not pay too much to spend at a poor quality resort. So if you’re ready to be done with the lies and thievery of timeshare companies, call us today. We’re ready for you.
